The M3000 will emboss a barcode in relief or indenting on a metal plate. The M3000 is designed to work with a large variety of metals - stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and brass.

The barcode embossed on metal plates by the M 3000 is based on the difference in the height between the background and the bars embossed in relief or indented. The color of the barcode surface does not affect the legibility of the code. This unique fearure combined with the durability of the metal plate makes the M3000 the ideal solution for accurate marking in harsh enviroments.

The BBC readers compliment the M3000 and reads the embossed barcode from a distance of up to 15cm. The BBC reader is fully compatible with a traditional barcaode reading station and can replace any standard barcode reading device with its ability to read standard black and white barcodes.

The M3000 can emboss a barcode as well as alphanumeric characters at a speed of 15 seconds per plate. The M3000 is equipped with a 250 plate capacity input hopper (based on 0.4 mm thickness), automatic loader, internal reader for verification of the embossed barcode, reject hopper and delivery system based on FIFO logic or side eject.

A double input hopper for continuous loading of two different plate sizes or a single maxi-feed station for extra large plates is available as an option.
